COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Online discussion and sharing of best practices and lessons learned on a specified multimedia topic.

COURSE GOAL:

At the end of the course, the student should able to:

• contribute to local multimedia initiatives in the context of global realities by Web publishing a best practice paper on an identified special multimedia topic; and
• articulate on contemporary issues affecting multimedia applications with focus on emerging trends and innovations in technology and protocols.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Participation in an online community of practice (COP) composed of students enrolled in the course moderated by an invited expert on an identified special multimedia topic for the semester.
• Web publishing of a best practice paper on a special multimedia topic identified for the semester.
