Mathematical skills and tools required for understanding and creating computer generated multimedia applications

COURSE GOALS:

At the end of the course, the student should:

  • understand the mathematical representations used in multimedia computing;
  • know the aspects of logic, sets, and elementary statistics related to multimedia computing; and
  • be proficient in mathematical operations involved in multimedia computing.
