COURSE TITLE: ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Comm 340 is a 3-unit course that provides analytical lenses for the examination of organizational communication processes and structure and of other organizational concepts and issues.

PREREQUISITE: None

COURSE GOAL: 

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

  • discuss the multiple perspectives of organizational communication; 
  • explain organizational communication concepts from various theoretical positions; and 
  • apply the various theoretical lenses in studying/analyzing organizational communication.
