COURSE DESCRIPTION:
An overview of the concepts and theories of aesthetics and how they influence multimedia.
COURSE GOAL:
At the end of this course, you shoud be able to:
- Explain what aesthetics is and discuss related concepts;
- Be able to elaborate arguments for and against commonly debated topics in aesthetics;
- Evaluate the aesthetics of a particular multimedia product from different perspectives; and
- Demonstrate appreciation of different styles and interpretation based on their understanding of the concepts of aesthetics
