COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course provides the environment to deepen the understanding of the various   theoretical positions on multimedia, its changing technologies, and its environment. It is of great import for this course to be the venue to broaden experiences in its practice.

COURSE GOALS:

• deepen the understanding of multimedia and its constant changing technologies;
• broaden the understanding of the players, practices and relationships in the multimedia environment;
• develop the theorizing practices in the cultural and critical positionings in analyzing multimedia; and
• become co-creators of texts to populate the boundless spaces, claiming spaces for those who have been silenced in traditional media.
