COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Information engineering concepts and tools for strategic systems planning and development.
COURSE GOALS:
The main objective of the course is to develop a strategic information system proposal for a specific organization. After completing the course, the students should be able to:
- discuss the principles of strategic information systems;
- develop an information systems strategic plan;
- use various tools in information systems modeling; and,
- develop a proposal for developing a strategic information system component.
