Mary Kristene D. Clariño

Mary Clariño is an educator, programmer, and independent songwriter in the Philippines. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (Cum Laude) and finished her Master’s in Information Systems from the University of the Philippines Open University. Her career started as a full-stack developer in a start-up company, where she created healthcare systems for different stakeholders. She eventually shifted to the academe and started teaching programming in 2017 until the present. Her research interests are Computer Science-related topics such as Web and Mobile Development, Information Systems, and User Experience Design.
